Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is hosted at The Printed Page.

The Day the Falls Stood Still by Cathy Marie Buchanan
This book was sent to me by the publisher for review.
This book is historical fiction set around the World War I period. The story explores how life changes for a young girl of privilege when her father loses his job.
The book is scheduled to be published on August 25, 2009

The Atlantis Revelation by Thomas Greanias
I'm sure I requested this book at some point, but I could not find a record of it.
This is the third installment in the author's Atlantis series. The story begins with the discovery of a sunken Nazi submarine and explores Hitler's quest for the lost city.
The book is scheduled to be published on August 11, 2009

The Caliphate by Jack Stewart
I won this book from the Member Giveaways Program at Library Thing. The author sent me the book.
A savvy billionaire is forced to attempt to destroy the value of the US dollar when his son is kidnapped.

An Artist in Treason by Andro Linklater
This book was sent to me by the publisher for review.
This book follows the life of James Wilkinson, patriot, traitor, general, spy.

The Neighbor by Lisa Gardner
I bought this in audio book format. I have a 45 minute commute each morning and afternoon and listen to audio books to keep me sane.
In The Neighbor a young school teacher and mother goes missing. The cops are torn between the husband and the neighborhood sex offender.

Under This Unbroken Sky by Shandi Mitchell
I received this book as part of the First Look Book Club at Barnes and Noble.
Shandi Mitchell weaves a beautiful story around the hardships of an immigrant Ukrainian family living in the tundra of 1930s western Canada.

That was all for this past week. I know there will be quite a few more over the next couple of weeks since Mo's birthday is coming up.
