Happy Birthday John Birmingham

I would like to wish Australian author John Birmingham a happy birthday today. Birmingham was born in Liverpool, England. He later moved to Australia with his parents. He is most known for his Axis of Time trilogy, featuring a military group from the early twenty first century that is transported back in time to 1942 and alters the course of World War Two. His most recent novel, Without Warning, explores what would have happened if most of the population of the United States disappeared on the eve of the first Gulf War. The second novel in the series, After America, is currently in the works.
