Mailbox Monday August 3, 2009

Mailbox Monday is hosted at The Printed Page.

hush, hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
This book was sent to me by the publisher for review.
Nora does not want romance, no matter how hard her best friend pushes. She is drawn to someone despite her better judgment. After a series of terrifying encounters, she finds herself in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and the fallen.

The Coral Thief by Rebecca Stott
This book was sent to me by the publisher for review.
This is historical fiction set in Paris just after Napoleon's surrender at Waterloo. A man investigates the theft of coral by a woman he shared a stagecoach with and finds himself amidst an underground world obsessed with emerging evolution theory.

Fault Line by Barry Eisler
I purchased this in audiobook format for my commute to and from work.
A Silicon Valley software engineer is killed before his new technology can be sold. Now the people involved in the patent process are being killed.

Hush hush looks good. I'm hoping my daughters and I both like it. They loved Twilight and I thought it was dopey, so I'm hoping I can find a book we agree on!

My list is here.

Happy reading!!

Hush, Hush sounds kind of interesting. I don't know if I'd read it but the premise is different.
