Daddy Daughter Day: Snuggle Puppy by Sandra Boynton

It is a cold and rainy Friday, but it is still Friday. Time for another Daddy Daughter Day. Today's book is Snuggle Puppy by Sandra Boynton. This book is based on the song of the same title from Boynton's book/CD set, Philadelphia Chickens.

This book is definitely more of a song than an actual story. This makes for some fun times with my little one. We change it up a little each time we do this one, emphasizing different words or phrases. The book shows a mommy dog singing to her little puppy and is loads of fun. The illustrations are simple and very appealing to young eyes.

Sandra Boynton is the author of numerous children's books. We own several of them and they are all quite good. I previously highlighted Pajama Time back in September.
