Happy Birthday Scott Smith

A happy birthday goes out to author Scott Smith. Scott is the author of two novels, A Simple Plan and The Ruins. Both books have been made into motion pictures. Scott wrote the screenplay for A Simple Plan which starred actor Billy Bob Thornton. His screenplay won various awards including a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award. Fellow horror writer Stephen King has referred to The Ruins as "The best horror novel of the new century."
