Bouchercon 2009

Bouchercon 2009 kicked off on Thursday and runs through Sunday. Bouchercon is the World Mystery Convention and is the largest annual meeting for mystery lovers. Bouchercon is named after Anthony Boucher. Boucher served the mystery community in several capacities. He helped found the Mystery Writer's of America, co-founded the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, reviewed mysteries in the New York Times Book Review section, and wrote seven novels and many pieces of short fiction. This year's Bouchercon is being held in Indianapolis, Indiana.

On Saturday, the Anthony Awards will be presented. Here are this year's nominees:
